Employee Scholarship Program
Choice wants you to succeed!
At Choice Services, we are committed to the growth and success of our employees. We believe a strong foundation is key to long-term success, and our scholarship program is designed to support that path. Scholarship funds may only be used for the following:
-
down payment and/or first month of rent
down payment and/or closing costs for a mortgage
eviction prevention
mattresses for those household members who do not have one

up to one month of services at a licensed childcare facilityor home for up to two children
-
purchase of an affordable, including payments, insurance, and other expenses associated with owning a vehicle
*Must have a valid drivers license and not have any other vehicles registered in your name
*must provide a letter from a mechanic stating the vehicle is sustainable
one time gas gift card to $50

GED classes or testing costs
trade school ot college enrollment fees or tuition
laptop to do online classes
textbooks or book codes required for classes

Reserve employees must have worked 4 full days (minimum of 2 drill weekends) prior to submitting the application.

Employee is required to attend a maximum of one company sponsered zoom meeting financialn wellness class thast can be taken any time before submitting the application. we highly encourage applicants to take all 3 one hourn online classes for maximum benefit of the program. the classes are custom designed to be informative with a goal setting style to provide practical skills for financial wellness. CHoice services will also pay for up to 3 one-hour, one-on-one confidential financial wellness coaching sessions for those employees intrested in more in-depth customized support to meet specific needs.
Employee must be in good standing with no written orm verbal disipline action. Excellent work attendance must be demonstrated with no call offs, no show/ or tardiness.
Employee acknowledges thatany awarded scholarship funding is made directly to vendor however, employee is responsible for federal, state and/or local taxes. We encourage seeking advice of a tax preparer on how to plan for taxes on a scholoship gift.

Employee must be activly working at the time of appl,ication for commitee consideration of any scholorship[ funding. if terminated or seperated from employment prior to review and award, requested funds will not be disbursed.

Participation of at least one financial wellness class presentation materials is required to apply for scholarship

In this class presentation materials, you will discover the power of strategically planning financial goals, how to live within your means in order to maximize your income, build future assets, and secure your financial future for a better tomorrow.

In this class presentation materials, you will experience how to make spending & saving fun while guiding you into better savings habits to identify, equip, and empower your financial goals!

In this class you will learn about how your credit score can be a deciding factor for asset ownership, and how building credit can help you maintain and manage your financial habits that build long term wealth.
If you fufill the requirments and picked at least 1 of the classes above you can movw on to the Scholoeship application step!

Full time/Seasonal employees must have worked a minimum of 80 hours in the last 45 days prior to submitting an application.
